It targets crypto holders looking for an online casino that accepts digital assets. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its casino content.

How the scam works

The site runs on the Gambler Scam kit, a template for fake casinos that look like functioning blockchain gambling platforms. Players are encouraged to deposit crypto, and the balance shown on screen often grows with apparent wins. When a player tries to cash out, the platform typically blocks the withdrawal or demands extra payments described as fees, taxes or verification deposits. Every one of those payments is lost too. The casino exists only to collect deposits, so nothing sent to it comes back.

Evidence

On 2026-09-11, 12 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. Vendors among them include alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are independent of one another. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and matched it to its cryptoscam category. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as phishing. MetaMask and SEAL block it alongside PhishDestroy, and four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-05-09 through Fewmoretaps OU d/b/a Trustname.com, roughly four months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is long enough to build a convincing casino front and attract early players. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. at an address geolocated to Canada. Because Cloudflare acts as a reverse proxy, that address is a Cloudflare edge server and does not show where the scam backend actually runs. A free Let's Encrypt certificate supplies the padlock, which shows the connection is encrypted but says nothing about whether the operator is legitimate.

What to do

Do not deposit anything, and never pay a "withdrawal fee" or "verification deposit" to release a balance. These payments are how the scheme takes more money. If you already sent crypto, record the transaction hashes and the deposit addresses you were given. Report them to the exchange or wallet provider you sent from and to local law enforcement. Be wary of anyone who later offers to "recover" your funds, because recovery scams commonly target victims of fake casinos. If you created an account with a password you use elsewhere, change it on those other services. Security teams should block guapwin.com at DNS and web proxy level and add Gambler Scam kit indicators to their detection rules.
