PhishDestroy threat report
fortcheck.net is an impersonation phishing site that poses as a legitimate service to win the trust of crypto users and wallet holders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16, just over two weeks after the domain was created. The site was still online and serving its content when last checked on 2026-10-19. Visitors should treat it as hostile.
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a service the victim already trusts. That familiarity lowers suspicion at the moment the page asks for a password, a one-time code, a wallet recovery phrase or a payment. The browser tab gives nothing away, because the page title shows only the bare domain name and does not name any brand. Anything typed into the forms goes straight to the operators, who can use it to take over accounts or empty wallets. Losses are usually immediate and cannot be reversed.
On 2026-09-29, 6 of 91 VirusTotal engines classed the domain as malicious: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but the flags come from several unrelated vendors. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam source, which suggests it is being pushed through unsolicited messages. It also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-01 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd. and was already operating as a phishing page by 2026-09-16. That short gap fits a domain bought for one campaign. It is hosted in Turkey on the M/S ROBI TRADERS network. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the padlock icon, but a padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is trustworthy.
If you entered a password on fortcheck.net, change it now on the real service and on any other account that shares it. Then switch on app-based two-factor authentication. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase or private key, consider that wallet compromised: create a new wallet and move any remaining funds to it right away. If you sent money, report the payment to your bank or platform without delay. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP at the DNS and proxy level and check logs for users who visited it.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
