PhishDestroy threat report
fixed-float.exchange is an impersonation phishing page built to pass as FixedFloat, the instant cryptocurrency swap service. The hyphenated name and the exchange extension are designed to look like the real brand to someone searching for a quick swap. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-23. The site has been offline since 2026-09-11 and was still unreachable when last checked on 2026-10-19.
FixedFloat-style services let users swap coins without registering: you pick a pair, enter a receiving address, and send funds to a deposit address the service shows you. A clone abuses that flow by displaying deposit addresses the attackers control, so anything sent is simply kept and the promised coins never arrive. Clones like this may also ask visitors to connect a wallet or sign transactions. Because crypto transfers cannot be reversed, the victim loses the entire deposit.
On 2026-09-02, 14 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors included ADMINUSLabs, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Chong Lua Dao, CyRadar, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data and Gridinsoft. The domain is also listed on wallet- and ecosystem-focused blocklists run by MetaMask, Polkadot, SEAL, Enkrypt and Codeesura, alongside PhishDestroy. Those lists protect users at the moment they try to connect or transact. It also appears in eight AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers tracked it independently.
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. It was taken down roughly three weeks after PhishDestroy first detected it. That short lifespan is typical of lookalike exchange domains, which are often replaced once blocklists catch up. Related lookalikes of the same brand may appear under new names.
If you sent coins to a deposit address shown on this site, record the transaction hash, the amount and the address. Report it to the exchange or wallet you sent from and to your local cybercrime authority. Ignore anyone who later offers to recover the funds for a fee, because that is a common follow-up scam. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, revoke token approvals with a trusted approval checker and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. Defenders should block the domain, watch for new FixedFloat lookalike registrations, and remind users to reach swap services only through bookmarked official addresses.

For this gTLD, the registrar above operates under an ICANN accreditation agreement. The links below provide the official fee schedule and current DNS abuse compliance guidance.
RAA §3.18 establishes abuse-contact and handling requirements. This report can document stored outbound notices and later technical observations; it does not by itself establish receipt, investigation, remediation, or contractual non-compliance.
launch2.spaceship.netAn estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
