PhishDestroy threat report
evm-pumpfun.com is an impersonation phishing page posing as Pump.fun, the memecoin launchpad. Its page title read "Pump.fun — Launch and trade memecoins on Solana," which pitches it at traders hunting for new tokens. The "evm" prefix suggests an EVM-chain edition of the platform, but the title still advertises Solana. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-17. The site has been offline since 2026-09-23 and was still unreachable on 2026-10-19.
Fake launchpads like this one copy the look of Pump.fun and wait for traders to click "connect wallet" to buy or create a token. What comes next is a malicious request disguised as a routine trade or launch step. It may be a transaction signature, a token approval, or a prompt to type in a recovery phrase. Any of these can hand the attacker control over the wallet's tokens, so the victim can lose the funds they meant to trade and everything else the wallet holds.
When VirusTotal checked the site on 2026-09-19, 9 of 89 engines flagged it. Those engines included alphaMountain.ai, Chong Lua Dao, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That count is modest, but the support from crypto-focused lists is stronger. MetaMask's blocklist and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus classifies it as DBL_PHISH. It also appears in three AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers tracked it independently.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-09 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED, just eight days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap fits a site built for a quick campaign rather than a lasting project. It was hosted on BL Networks in the Netherlands. A free Let's Encrypt certificate gave it the browser padlock, which says nothing about whether a site is legitimate.
If you connected a wallet to evm-pumpfun.com, review and revoke any token approvals or delegations it may have obtained, using your wallet or a trusted approval-revocation tool. If you entered a recovery phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move the remaining assets to a new wallet created with a fresh phrase. Reach Pump.fun only through a bookmark you saved yourself, never through ads or links promising new chain versions. Defenders should keep the domain blocked even though it is down, and watch for similar "chain-prefixed" Pump.fun lookalikes registered through the same channels.
