PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

esmglobalmarketing.live is an impersonation phishing page that borrowed someone else's identity to win the trust of crypto users. MetaMask and SEAL both list it, which places it squarely in the wallet-user threat space. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-17. The site went offline on 2026-09-24, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive, so it no longer resolves.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the name, look and tone of a legitimate business or service so visitors believe they are dealing with the real thing. Once that trust exists, the page asks for something valuable: login credentials, recovery phrases, a wallet connection, or a payment for a service that does not exist. Anything handed over this way goes straight to the operators. The domain name presents itself as a global marketing firm, a front that suits offers, partnership pitches and paid promotion schemes aimed at crypto projects and their communities.

Evidence

Eight of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-25: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Kaspersky, Netcraft and SOCRadar. That count is modest, but the vendors work independently of each other and of the wallet-focused blocklists. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the phishing category. MetaMask, SEAL and PhishDestroy carry it on their blocklists, and four AlienVault OTX pulses reference it, so several separate threat-sharing communities reached the same conclusion.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-07-11 through Global Domain Group LLC, about two months before PhishDestroy detected it. It stayed online for roughly a week after detection and went dark on 2026-09-24. That short public lifespan matches disposable phishing infrastructure, which operators register in advance, use briefly and then abandon.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to this site, use a revocation tool to revoke any token approvals you granted. Move your funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and empty it into a new one immediately. If you typed a password, change it everywhere you reused it and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. Do not send further payments to anyone who contacted you through this page. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and check logs from 2026-07-11 onward for any internal visits.
