PhishDestroy threat report
es.usps.international is a phishing domain that impersonates the United States Postal Service (USPS). It targets people who expect a delivery or receive a message about a parcel. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-31. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and redirecting visitors elsewhere, so it could still be steering traffic to a live phishing page.
USPS lures usually start with a text or email claiming a package is held, undeliverable or awaiting a small redelivery or customs fee. The link leads to a page styled like USPS that asks for a name, home address, phone number and card details to "release" the parcel. Victims lose their card data and identity details, which can be used for fraudulent charges and follow-up scams. The page title currently shows a Wix "ConnectYourDomain Error", a hosting error message rather than USPS content, while we classify the domain as USPS impersonation.
On 2026-09-12, 11 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Google Safe Browsing, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. That is a minority of engines, but it spans several independent vendors. Google Safe Browsing lists it under social engineering, so major browsers can warn visitors. Spamhaus DBL classifies it as phishing, and it appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists as well as PhishDestroy's.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-28 through Tucows Domains Inc. and was detected only three days later. That short gap is typical of disposable domains set up for a quick SMS or email campaign. It sits behind Cloudflare, with the address geolocated to Canada, which hides the real origin server. The Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a browser padlock, but the padlock only means the connection is encrypted. It does not show that the site is genuine.
If you entered card details here, call your bank right away to block the card and dispute any unfamiliar charges. Expect follow-up calls or texts that pretend to be USPS or your bank, and never share one-time codes. If you submitted your address, phone number or date of birth, watch for identity fraud and consider a credit freeze. USPS does not request payment through unsolicited texts, so track parcels only by typing the official site address yourself. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and mail gateways, filter SMS and email that link to it, and report it to Cloudflare and Tucows for takedown.
