PhishDestroy threat report
en-rabbyextension.framer.website is a phishing page that impersonated Rabby, the browser-extension crypto wallet. It targeted people trying to download or set up the Rabby extension. The page sat on a subdomain of Framer's website-building platform. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-09-17, and it has been offline since 2026-09-22. On 2026-10-19 it was still down, with no content served at the root.
Fake wallet-extension pages copy the look of the real download site. The "en-rabbyextension" name reads like an official English-language install page. Victims are then pushed toward a malicious extension build, or asked to "restore" or "verify" their wallet by typing a seed phrase or private key. Anyone who hands over a recovery phrase gives the operator full control of the wallet, and its funds can be emptied at any time. The page now returns the title "Site Not Found | Framer", which does not match the Rabby impersonation it was classified as.
Detection is narrow but comes from relevant sources. On 2026-09-23, 4 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the address: ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Forcepoint ThreatSeeker. ChainPatrol focuses specifically on crypto phishing, so its flag carries weight here. Beyond PhishDestroy, the domain is listed on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists. Wallets and security tools that use those lists will warn or block on it.
The 2021-11-19 registration date and the CSC Corporate Domains registrar belong to Framer's own platform domain, not to the scammer. The operator simply created a free-hosted subdomain on that platform rather than buying a lookalike domain. That made the page cheap to launch and quick to abandon, and it went dark five days after PhishDestroy first saw it. Traffic resolved to Amazon infrastructure in the Netherlands, which is consistent with Framer's hosted sites. The Let's Encrypt certificate came with the platform and says nothing about whether the page could be trusted.
If you installed an extension from this page, remove it immediately. Reinstall Rabby only from its official site or your browser's official extension store. If you typed a seed phrase or private key here, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a clean device and move any remaining funds to it right away, before the attacker does. If you connected an existing wallet, check its token approvals and revoke any you do not recognize. Defenders should block the hostname and watch for similar Rabby-themed subdomains on site-builder platforms, which are easy to spin up again.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.
