It targets people searching for or clicking links to get Chrome, a large and trusting audience. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-13. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and redirecting visitors elsewhere.

How the scam works

Fake browser download pages copy the look and wording of a trusted vendor so that the visitor's next click feels routine. In schemes like this, the "download" button usually delivers a tampered installer or sends the visitor through redirects to another payload or a credential-harvesting form. Because the page borrows Chrome's name and its promise of being "fast & secure," victims rarely question what they are installing. What they risk losing is control of the device and everything stored on it, including saved passwords, browser sessions and crypto wallet extensions.
