PhishDestroy threat report
downtofinance.org presents itself as "Down To Finance - Make an Olympus out of anything". That pitch borrows the language of Olympus-style DeFi staking and bonding protocols to look like a legitimate yield project. PhishDestroy classifies it as an impersonation phishing page aimed at crypto holders looking for high-yield DeFi opportunities. We first flagged it on 2026-09-17. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online with its content live.
Impersonation pages like this copy the look and promises of a real or plausible DeFi protocol, then ask visitors to connect a wallet to stake, bond or claim rewards. The Olympus reference is the hook, implying rebasing yields and treasury-backed returns. Once the wallet is connected, the victim is prompted to approve token spending or sign transactions. Those approvals can hand control of their assets to the operators, and anything moved this way is effectively unrecoverable.
On 2026-09-29, 6 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a modest count, so many security tools will still let the page load without warning. ScamSniffer, a blocklist focused on Web3 phishing, lists it alongside PhishDestroy. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers have tracked it independently.
The domain was registered through NAMECHEAP INC on 2026-09-06, just eleven days before we caught it. A short gap like that is typical of throwaway domains spun up for a single campaign. The site resolves to Fastly, Inc. infrastructure in the US, a large shared content-delivery network that cheap static hosting often runs on. It serves a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the project is genuine.
Do not connect a wallet or sign anything on this site. If you already connected, review your wallet's token approvals with a revocation tool and revoke any permissions granted around the time of your visit. If you signed approvals or shared a seed phrase, move your remaining assets to a newly created wallet. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to Web3 wallet warning lists, and report it to the registrar and hosting provider for takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
