dexscreener.fyi is an impersonation phishing page posing as DEX Screener, the token charting service traders use to track new pairs and price action. The page title reads simply "DEX Screener", so visitors see the real brand name in their tab. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-11. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
Lookalike domains like this rely on traders searching for charts quickly, often from a link in a Telegram group, an ad or a reply on social media. The cloned interface looks familiar, then asks the visitor to connect a wallet, sign a message or enter details on a page the real brand never controls. A signature or approval given on a fake site can let the operator move tokens out of the wallet. Anything typed into the page goes straight to the scammers.
Evidence
Seven of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain at the 2026-09-22 check: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That count is modest, but the support from crypto-specific sources is strong. MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus carries it in its DBL as a phishing domain. Four AlienVault OTX pulses also reference it, so several research teams have tracked it independently.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-03-20 through Tucows Domains Inc., almost six months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap fits a domain bought ahead of time and kept in reserve until a campaign needed it. It resolves to Amazon cloud hosting (AMAZON-02) in Germany. This is rented, disposable infrastructure that can be relocated quickly if one host acts.
What to do
If you connected a wallet or signed anything on this site, review your token approvals with a revocation tool right away. Revoke anything you do not recognize, and move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you approved transactions you did not understand. Never share a seed phrase. If you typed it here, treat that wallet as compromised and empty it into a new one. Reach DEX Screener only through a saved bookmark. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and proxy level and flag the brand name on unfamiliar TLDs in mail and chat filters.
