Its name pairs "desktop" with "atomic", and its presence on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists places it squarely in crypto territory. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving content.

How the scam works

The page title reads "Site is being set up...", a placeholder message, while the domain sits on crypto-specific blocklists. Domains that crypto security groups flag this early are typically staged to take wallet credentials or funds, through fake downloads, seed phrase prompts or wallet connection requests. Treat any file, recovery phrase field or connect-wallet prompt on this domain as a potential way to lose control of your assets.

Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-19: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky, SOCRadar and VIPRE.
