PhishDestroy threat report
cx-investment.net is an impersonation phishing site whose name presents it as an investment service, a common lure aimed at crypto holders looking for returns. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-25, and it went offline the next day, 2026-09-26. When last checked on 2026-10-19 the domain no longer resolved in DNS, so the site is dead for now. The page itself carried only the generic title "Home", which reveals nothing about the brand it borrowed.
Impersonation sites like this copy the look and language of a legitimate platform so visitors believe they are dealing with the real service. In investment-themed versions, victims are asked to register, hand over login details or personal information, and send crypto as a "deposit" that never comes back. Withdrawals are then blocked behind invented fees or taxes. Some variants also push visitors to connect a wallet, which exposes them to malicious approvals.
Four of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-09-25: Bfore.Ai PreCrime, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and Netcraft. That is a low count, but these vendors specialize in phishing and newly registered threats. MetaMask and the SEAL security alliance list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, which places it squarely in the crypto-fraud space. Spamhaus DBL lists it as spam, and four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-05-06, about four and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests either a slow-building campaign or a domain held in reserve before use. It was hosted in Malaysia on the Shinjiru Technology network. Its Sectigo DV certificate only proves control of the domain, so the padlock said nothing about who was running the site.
If you sent funds to cx-investment.net, stop all further payments, including any "withdrawal fee" or "tax" demanded to release your balance, and report the transactions to your exchange and local police. If you created an account, change that password anywhere you reused it and turn on app-based 2FA. If you connected a wallet, revoke the token approvals you granted and move remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. Defenders should block the domain and the 101.99.94.145 address and watch for similar investment-themed names appearing on the same network.

An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.

A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
