PhishDestroy threat report
checkmyfortnite.com poses as a Fortnite account-checking service. It targets players who want to look up their stats, skins or account value. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. As of 2026-10-19 the server was still responding, but the domain's DNS no longer pointed to the phishing content.
Sites built around checking your Fortnite account usually promise a quick lookup of your locker, V-Bucks or account worth. To get it, the player has to sign in, and the page captures the username, password and often a one-time 2FA code. With those, the operator can take over the account and strip its cosmetics, spend balances or misuse any linked payment method. The page itself carries the title "Loading" rather than any Fortnite branding. We classified it as Fortnite impersonation based on the domain's lure.
On 2026-10-11, VirusTotal showed 6 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a small share of engines, but it comes from several independent vendors only weeks after registration. Spamhaus lists the domain on its DBL as spam. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tied it to malicious activity.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-24 through TuringSign Inc. d/b/a Cosmotown, just 12 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains. It is hosted at 46.29.26.38 on AS132359 (M/S ROBI TRADERS) in Finland. Its Let's Encrypt certificate means the browser padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you signed in on this site, change your Fortnite account password right away, plus any account that reused it. Turn on two-factor authentication through an authenticator app, sign out all active sessions, and review linked console and platform connections. Check purchase history and saved payment methods for charges you did not make, and contact the game's official support if the account was taken over. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, and alert on look-alike "check my account" domains aimed at gamers.

Google PageSpeed Insights — mobile performance audit of checkmyfortnite.com · checked Oct 6, 2026
An estimated time describes an observation window. It does not prove a registrar action or the exact moment a site became unavailable.
Dated changes retained by the monitor and source collectors. Newest observations appear first; source states are not proof of a takedown.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
