PhishDestroy threat report
byit.support is a phishing site that impersonates the Bybit cryptocurrency exchange. Its page title is simply "Bybit", and the domain drops a few letters from the real brand while adding "support". That combination is aimed at Bybit customers looking for help with their accounts. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17. When last checked on 2026-10-19, the site was still listed as alive, but its DNS was inactive, so the phishing content may not currently load.
Fake support domains catch people who already have a problem: a frozen account, a stuck withdrawal, or a missing deposit. A visitor who lands on a page branded "Bybit" is asked to sign in, and the email, password and two-factor codes they enter go straight to the operators. With those, attackers can log into the real account and move funds out. Fake support flows can also push victims to pay "verification" or "unlock" fees, or to send crypto to an address the scammers control.
Fifteen of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29. Detections came from alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Spamhaus lists it in its domain blocklist under the phishing category, which affects mail filtering for many organizations. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so several independent researchers have tracked it.
The domain was registered on 2026-07-17 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD., exactly two months before PhishDestroy detected it. Phishing operators often register lookalike domains in advance and activate them later. The site was hosted on IP 182.16.88.117 in Hong Kong.
If you entered your Bybit login on this page, change your password from the official Bybit app or site right away. Then reset two-factor authentication and review active sessions, API keys and withdrawal whitelist addresses for anything you did not add. Bybit support never asks for your password or 2FA codes, and it never asks you to pay a fee to unlock an account. If you sent funds, report the transaction to Bybit through official channels and keep the transaction details. Defenders should block byit.support and IP 182.16.88.117 at DNS and mail gateways, and watch for similar lookalike domains that pair "support" with Bybit-style names.

This report combines saved page captures, registration and network records, scanner results and PhishDestroy reporting history. Each source keeps its own observation date. Open a source report to inspect the original result.
The AI-assisted analysis was written on . It describes the evidence available at that time; later source checks can change.
A capture documents what was shown. A scanner result records that provider’s assessment at the time of its check. Neither a valid certificate nor a zero-detection result is a guarantee of safety.
