PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

bestchange.guru is an impersonation phishing site posing as BestChange, the well-known monitor that compares cryptocurrency exchange rates across exchangers. It targets people looking for a good rate to swap or cash out crypto. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. On 2026-10-19 the domain was still online and redirecting visitors.

How the scam works

The page carries the title "BestChange — Cryptocurrency Exchange Rates Monitoring" to look like the genuine aggregator. Lookalike rate monitors of this kind typically send users to exchangers controlled by the scammers. These exchangers accept the deposit and never deliver the promised coins or fiat. Some copies also collect login details, email addresses or contact information for follow-up fraud. Anyone who sends funds through such a listing should expect to lose the full amount, because crypto transfers cannot be reversed.

Evidence
