PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

becandbridgestyle.shop is a fake online store posing as the official US shop of the fashion label BEC + BRIDGE. Its page title reads "US | Official Online Store | BEC + BRIDGE", aimed squarely at American shoppers looking for the brand. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-12. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its storefront.

How the scam works

Fake shops like this copy a real brand's look and product range, then advertise prices well below retail to push quick checkouts. A shopper who orders pays by card or another method and receives nothing, or receives a cheap item unrelated to what was shown. The card number, billing address and contact details typed at checkout go straight to the operators. Those details can be reused for further fraudulent charges or sold on.

Evidence

Seven of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain in a check on 2026-10-16: CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a minority of engines, but the flagging vendors include several that specialise in phishing and brand-abuse detection. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop. The domain appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-05-26, about four and a half months before PhishDestroy caught it. A gap like that often means the domain sat unused before the storefront went live, or the shop ran quietly before being reported. The site is hosted in the US on the Malakmadze Web LLC network at 195.96.130.237. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate supplies the padlock icon, which proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the store is genuine.

What to do

If you ordered from this site, call your card issuer or bank now, report the charge as fraud and request a chargeback and a replacement card. Watch your statements for small test charges, and treat any follow-up emails about "shipping problems" or refunds as phishing. If you bought from this site, go through the brand's own official channels to check what is real rather than following links from this shop. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP, and add the domain to brand-abuse monitoring for BEC + BRIDGE lookalike sites.
