PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

PhishDestroy’s intake system listed the domain as malicious because VirusTotal returned a single malicious detection. The domain was first seen by PhishDestroy on 2026-10-22. The recorded page title “TRUE Autopilot — Your 24/7 AI Trading Agent” and the excerpt “Connect your wallet … Your funds never leave your control” show the site prompting users to link a Solana wallet to an on‑chain AI trader, which the intake AI identified as a fraudulent‑investment and wallet‑drainer pattern.

How the scam works

In this scheme the attacker advertises a non‑custodial AI trading service that claims to generate profits automatically. Victims are asked to connect a blockchain wallet and grant transaction approvals, after which the attacker can move or trade the assets at will, effectively draining the wallet while the user believes the AI operates on their own account.

Evidence

VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-21 and recorded one malicious detection from SOCRadar, labeling it as phishing. Google Safe Browsing checked on 2026-10-22 and did not flag the site. A urlscan.io capture taken on 2026-09-08 returned an overall clean verdict but its engine scoring marked the page malicious with a high confidence score (score 97). Cloudflare Radar scanned on 2026-10-22 and returned a malicious verdict with phishing and malware tags. OTX had no pulses as of 2026-10-22. PhishDestroy’s internal blocklist contained the domain, while external blocklists checked on the same day reported zero matches.

Infrastructure

The recorded DNS entries showed the domain pointing to the IPs 172.66.43.184 and 172.66.40.72, which were served through Cloudflare, Inc. in Canada. The recorded DNS also included two AAAA addresses (2606:4700:3108::ac42:2848, 2606:4700:3108::ac42:2bb8). The certificate observed on 2026-10-22 was issued by Google Trust Services, valid from 2026-10-11 to 2027-01-09. The domain age was 25 days and the apex zone was 174 days old at the time of observation. The recorded server header identified “cloudflare” and the recorded WAF status indicated Cloudflare’s web application firewall was active.

What to do

Users should not approve any wallet connection on this site; if approvals were granted they should be revoked and assets moved to a new wallet. No password changes are needed unless credentials were entered. Defenders should block traffic to autopilot.truefinance.ai, monitor for Solana wallet approvals to the recorded IPs, and keep the domain on relevant blocklists.
