How the scam works
Fake shops like this one copy the look of a real boutique, list stylish items at tempting discounts, and push visitors through a normal-looking checkout. Victims typically pay by card or a direct transfer. Afterwards they receive nothing, or they get cheap goods that bear no resemblance to the listing. The checkout also captures names, delivery addresses, phone numbers and payment details, which can be reused for further fraud. The "Asante Studios" branding gives the store a boutique identity that makes it look established, though the domain itself is only a few months old.
