PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

app-nado.hyz-en.biz.id is an impersonation phishing page. Its hostname is built to read like the app entry point of a legitimate service, the "app-nado" prefix sitting on a throwaway-looking hyz-en.biz.id subdomain. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-13. On 2026-10-19 the host still responded, but its DNS was inactive, so the phishing content was no longer being served.

How the scam works

Impersonation pages copy the look and naming of a real project so that visitors, often arriving from ads, social replies or direct messages, trust the page and act on it. Because both MetaMask and SEAL list this domain, it falls into the crypto space. In that setting the usual goal is to get the visitor to connect a wallet and sign a transaction or token approval, which lets the operator move funds. Some pages instead ask for a seed phrase. The browser tab reads "Jasper Studio", which does not match an app-style hostname. We classify the site as impersonation phishing based on its domain and the listings below.

Evidence

Only 3 of 92 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-10-18: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and SOCRadar. That low count is typical for short-lived crypto phishing hosts, and a clean result from other engines should not be read as safe. The stronger signal comes from crypto-specific lists. MetaMask and SEAL both block it alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus DBL lists it as spam.

Infrastructure

The underlying registration dates to 2013-09-09, more than a decade before detection, through PT Jagoan Hosting Indonesia. This suggests the phishing hostname was added to an existing domain rather than registered fresh for this campaign. Traffic runs through Cloudflare, Inc. (CA), which hides the true origin server. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock shows only that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you connected a wallet here, revoke any token approvals or permissions granted around 2026-10-13 using a trusted approval checker. If you signed anything you did not fully understand, move remaining assets to a fresh wallet. If you typed a seed phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move everything out immediately.
