amconline.shop is a fraudulent storefront that presents itself as "AMC Official Shop | AMC Shop", borrowing the AMC name to look like a brand-authorised outlet. It targets fans and bargain hunters who land on it through ads, search results or social media links. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-02. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop content, so it can still take orders.
How the scam works
Fake shops like this copy the look of an official brand store, list products at prices well below normal, and push visitors to check out quickly. The buyer pays by card or another method and gets nothing, or receives a cheap item that bears no resemblance to the listing. The card number, billing address, email and phone entered at checkout are also captured and can be reused for fraud or sold. The "Official Shop" wording in the page title gives the site false credibility, because no legitimate AMC store runs on this domain.
Evidence
On 2026-10-02, 16 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a solid level of agreement across established vendors for a young shop domain. urlscan.io rated the page malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, which matches our classification. The domain appears in two AlienVault OTX threat pulses and is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Dynadot Inc. on 2026-07-16, about eleven weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap is common for fake stores, which often spend some time setting up listings and ad campaigns before they draw attention. The site is served from 185.252.210.57 on the Malakmadze Web LLC network, a Georgian-registered provider, with the address geolocating to the US. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the shop is legitimate.
What to do
If you placed an order, contact your bank or card issuer right away to dispute the charge and request a new card. Watch your statements for unfamiliar transactions. Keep your order confirmation and payment receipts as evidence. Expect follow-up phishing at the email and phone number you gave, and do not pay any "customs" or "shipping" fees the sellers may demand.
