It targets people searching for or being steered toward that brand. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-09, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy a brand's name and look so visitors assume they are dealing with the real company. The "HQ" in the domain and the cheap .shop extension are typical of lookalike addresses built to seem like a headquarters or official store. Once trust is established, these pages push visitors to sign in, register, pay or submit personal details. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operators. Victims can lose account access, payment card data or money sent for goods and services that never arrive.
Evidence
On 2026-09-22, eight of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, SOCRadar and Webroot. That is a minority of engines, but the flags come from several unrelated vendors, so this is not a single false positive.
