Overview

3spinup.com is a phishing domain that impersonates Cloudflare and is aimed at crypto and wallet users. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-08-09. The site has been offline since 2026-09-13, and its content was blocked by the hosting provider. It was still dead when last checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

Fake Cloudflare pages work because people trust them. Visitors are used to clicking through Cloudflare's "checking your browser" and verification screens without a second thought, so a copied version can push them into the next step: typing credentials, approving a wallet connection, or following on-screen instructions they would normally question. The last page title served was "Suspected Phishing | Cloudflare." That is the wording of Cloudflare's own phishing warning, while we classified the domain as a Cloudflare impersonation page. Victims of this kind of scheme typically lose account access or, when a wallet is involved, the funds that wallet can reach.

Evidence

The strongest signals come from crypto-specific defenses. MetaMask and SEAL both list the domain alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus carries it in its domain blocklist under the phishing category. On VirusTotal, 6 of 89 engines flagged it as of 2026-09-13: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, PhishFort and SOCRadar. That is a modest share of engines, but phishing specialists are among them. The domain also appears in 3 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it independently.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. It sat behind Cloudflare's network, resolving to 104.21.22.185 with a Canadian geolocation. A brand-impersonation site running on the very provider it imitates is notable, and that provider is also the one that blocked the content. The TLS certificate came from Google Trust Services (WE1), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

If you entered a password on this site, change it immediately, starting with any account that reuses it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you connected a wallet or signed anything, review and revoke token approvals for that address. If a seed phrase was typed in, move remaining assets to a newly created wallet. Treat any verification screen that asks for wallet access or credentials as hostile. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS and proxy level, and search logs for visits from 2026-08-09 onward.
