PhishDestroy threat report
xn--bitrefll-q2a.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as Google, with the page title simply reading "Google". It targets people who trust that brand, and its appearance on crypto-focused blocklists shows it also reaches the crypto community. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still alive and currently serves a redirect. The readable part of the internationalized domain spells "bitrefll", while the page itself presents as Google.
Impersonation pages like this copy the look of a trusted brand, here Google, so visitors believe they are on a genuine sign-in or verification screen. Victims are pushed to enter account credentials, recovery details or verification codes, which go straight to the operators. A captured Google account can unlock email, saved passwords, cloud files and password resets for exchanges and other services, including crypto accounts. The redirect means visitors may land on the lure page after passing through another address first.
On 2026-10-15, VirusTotal showed 14 of 92 engines flagging the domain, including ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data and Gridinsoft. Spamhaus lists it in its domain blocklist as DBL_PHISH. It is blocked by PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL. It also appears in 7 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-11 through DYNADOT LLC, about a month before PhishDestroy detected it. It is hosted at 62.60.226.163 on AS214351 FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED in Germany. The site uses a TLS certificate from Let's Encrypt (YR1), so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you visited and typed anything, change your Google password right away from Google's own site, sign out all other sessions, and review your recovery email, phone number and two-factor settings for changes you did not make. Turn on a hardware key or authenticator app, and change passwords on any exchange, wallet service or other account that shares that password or resets through that inbox. Watch for unexpected login alerts and forwarding rules in your mailbox. Defenders should block the domain and its IP at DNS, proxy and email gateways, search logs for past visits, and reset credentials for any affected users.
