Overview

bitrgifts.com is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself as Google, with the browser tab simply reading "Google". It targets people who trust a familiar sign-in screen, and it appears on crypto-focused blocklists. PhishDestroy first detected it on 2026-10-15. As of 2026-10-19 the site is alive and redirects visitors onward.

How the scam works

Google impersonation pages copy the look of a Google login or account prompt so visitors type their email address, password and sometimes a one-time verification code. Those details go straight to the operators, who can then take over the Google account and the email, cloud storage and saved passwords behind it. In crypto scams, a hijacked Google account is valuable because it can expose exchange logins, password resets and seed phrases stored in notes or drives. The redirect means the domain can pass visitors to another page, so the landing screen may change over time.

Evidence

On 2026-10-15, VirusTotal showed 16 of 92 engines flagging the domain, including ChainPatrol, alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and Fortinet. It is listed on the PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL blocklists. Spamhaus DBL classifies it as DBL_PHISH. It also appears in 8 AlienVault OTX threat pulses.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2026-09-07 through NICENIC INTERNATIONAL GROUP CO., LIMITED, about five weeks before PhishDestroy detected it. It is hosted at 62.60.226.163 on AS214351 FEMO IT SOLUTIONS LIMITED in Germany. Its TLS certificate was issued by Let's Encrypt (YR1), so a padlock in the address bar says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.

What to do

Do not enter any credentials on bitrgifts.com or on any page it redirects to. If you typed your Google password there, change it immediately from the real Google account settings, sign out all other sessions, review recovery email and phone details, and turn on two-step verification or a passkey. Then change passwords on exchanges and other services that use the same password or rely on that Gmail for resets. Move any seed phrases or private keys stored in the account to offline storage. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS, proxy and email gateways, and search logs for users who visited it or submitted forms.
