Three blocklists list usdai.lol: PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL. MetaMask's listing matters because it means the wallet itself can warn users before they interact. On VirusTotal, 7 of 91 engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky and SOCRadar. That is a modest share, so many security tools may still let it load. The domain also appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, showing other researchers are tracking it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-23 through Eranet International Limited. PhishDestroy flagged it four days later, a short gap typical of throwaway phishing domains set up for a quick campaign. It resolves to a Cloudflare, Inc. address, which hides the real origin server behind Cloudflare's network. The certificate comes from Let's Encrypt, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you connected a wallet to usdai.lol, review and revoke any token approvals granted during that session with a trusted approval-management tool. Move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not fully understand. If you typed in a recovery phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and transfer assets to a new wallet with a newly generated phrase immediately. Reach the USD AI project only through links from its verified official channels. Defenders should block usdai.lol at DNS and proxy level, alert users on crypto-related endpoints, and watch for lookalike domains that pair the USD AI name with unusual extensions.
