stonk-rewards.online is an impersonation phishing page dressed up as a rewards offer. It sits on the wallet-security blocklists of MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL, which points to crypto users as the audience. PhishDestroy first caught it on 2026-09-01, two days after the domain was registered. The site went offline on 2026-09-11, and as of 2026-10-19 its DNS no longer resolves.
How the scam works
Fake rewards sites like this copy a legitimate project's look and promise a bonus, airdrop or loyalty payout to pull visitors in. To claim it, the victim is pushed to connect a wallet, sign a transaction, or type in a recovery phrase or login details. Whatever they hand over goes to the operator, who can use it to empty the wallet or take over the account. The page title read "Just a moment...", a generic browser-check screen rather than branded content, while we classified the site as impersonation.
Evidence
On 2026-09-03, VirusTotal showed 6 of 91 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Ermes, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a low count, typical for a domain only days old. The stronger signal comes from the crypto-focused lists. MetaMask, ScamSniffer and SEAL each blocklisted it independently, alongside PhishDestroy.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-08-30 and was already live and caught by 2026-09-01. That quick start fits a throwaway domain built for a short campaign. Traffic went through Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada, so the address shown is Cloudflare's and not the operator's real server. The site lasted about ten days, from first detection to going offline on 2026-09-11.
What to do
If you connected a wallet to this site, check its token approvals with a revocation tool and cancel anything you don't recognize. If you entered a seed phrase, treat the wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new one created on a clean device. If you typed in a password, change it wherever you reuse it and turn on two-factor authentication. Be suspicious of any "stonk" rewards claim that asks for a signature or recovery phrase. Defenders should block the domain and look in their logs for earlier visits, since the site is dead now but could be re-registered.
