sol-roll.xyz is an impersonation phishing page that borrows the Solana name and presents itself as "SOLANA SPIN", a roulette-style prize wheel aimed at Solana wallet holders. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-05. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its phishing content, so it remains a live risk to anyone who lands on it.
How the scam works
Fake spin pages like this one show a wheel that always seems to land on a win, such as a SOL bonus or token reward. To claim the prize, the visitor is told to connect a wallet and approve a transaction, or to "verify" the wallet by entering a recovery phrase. The approval or signature hands the operator the right to move assets out of the wallet. A typed-in seed phrase gives away the wallet entirely. The reward is never paid. The victim loses whatever SOL and tokens the attacker can reach.
Evidence
Our classification is backed by independent sources. VirusTotal shows 8 of 89 engines flagging the domain as of 2026-09-11, including alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Ermes, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a modest count, typical of a young phishing domain that most engines have not yet caught up with. The domain also appears on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists alongside PhishDestroy, and Spamhaus lists it in its DBL as a phishing domain. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-04 through Global Domain Group LLC and was already flagged as phishing the next day. A domain that goes live and starts phishing within about a day points to a disposable setup built for a quick campaign. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc., which hides the real origin server, and the hosting location resolves to Canada.
What to do
If you only opened the page, close it and do not return. If you connected a wallet, use a revocation tool to check and cancel any approvals or delegations granted while on the site, and move your remaining assets to a fresh wallet if you signed anything unfamiliar. If you typed in your recovery phrase, treat that wallet as fully compromised and transfer your funds to a new wallet with a new seed right away. Ignore any follow-up messages offering help with recovery, since these are often a second scam. Defenders should block sol-roll.xyz at the DNS and proxy level, watch for lookalike Solana "spin" or "roll" domains, and report the site to Cloudflare so it can be taken down.
