PhishDestroy classifies it as impersonation phishing aimed at wallet holders, often people who already suspect something is wrong with their wallet. We first saw it on 2026-10-04, and as of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its content.
How the scam works
Fake approval checkers turn a safety habit into the attack. The visitor connects a wallet expecting to see and cancel old token allowances. The "revoke" buttons then prompt signatures or transactions that grant spending rights or move assets to the attacker. Because the victim believes they are tightening security, they tend to approve prompts without reading them. The loss can include any tokens or NFTs covered by the permissions they signed.
Evidence
On 2026-10-06, 11 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain, including BitDefender, Kaspersky, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, CRDF and alphaMountain.ai. That is a minority of engines, but several of them are major security vendors that reached the verdict independently. Wallet-focused blocklists agree: MetaMask and SEAL list it alongside PhishDestroy, so MetaMask users should see a warning before the page loads. Four AlienVault OTX pulses also reference the domain.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through GoDaddy.com LLC on 2026-08-03, about two months before we detected it. That gap leaves room for the domain to be prepared or used quietly before it lands on blocklists. It resolves to Amazon's AMAZON-02 network in the US. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it the browser padlock, which proves only that the connection is encrypted, not that the site is honest.
What to do
