How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, name and wording of a service people already trust, then route visitors into actions that benefit the operator. In crypto schemes this usually means a login form, a prompt to connect a wallet, a request for a recovery phrase, or a "deposit" into what looks like a real account. Anything entered on the Octaipro-branded page should be treated as captured by the operators. Victims typically lose account access, wallet contents or the money they send in.

Eleven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-10-01, including Kaspersky, BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Gridinsoft. That count is moderate, but it comes from vendors with separate detection pipelines, and it is reinforced by MetaMask and SEAL, two blocklists focused specifically on crypto threats, alongside PhishDestroy. The domain also appears in one AlienVault OTX threat pulse.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-09-10 through GLOBAL ASSET DOMAINS INC., and PhishDestroy detected it 19 days later. That short lifespan fits disposable phishing domains set up quickly for a campaign. Traffic is routed through Cloudflare, Inc. via an address geolocated in Canada, which hides the real origin server behind the proxy. The free Let's Encrypt certificate gives the site a padlock icon, but that only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
Do not enter credentials, connect a wallet or send funds to octaipro.top.
