fortspot.top is an impersonation phishing site: it poses as a legitimate service so that visitors trust it with information they would only give the real one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-06. On 2026-10-19 the server still answered, but the domain's DNS no longer pointed to working page content. That pattern often means the domain can be switched back on at any time.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a known brand, then ask the visitor to sign in, verify an account, connect a wallet or confirm a payment. Whatever is typed or approved goes straight to the operators, who use it to take over accounts or move funds before the victim notices. The page showed only the title "Loading", a neutral placeholder rather than a brand name, while our classification is impersonation phishing.
Evidence
Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-10. The detections came from alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, G-Data, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar. That is a modest share of engines, but it spans several unrelated vendors, which makes a false positive unlikely. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as a spam domain, and it is on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-07-18 through Global Domain Group LLC, about 80 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was held in reserve or used quietly before drawing attention. It is hosted on a network registered to M/S Robi Traders, a Bangladeshi operator, while the IP address geolocates to Finland. A cheap .top name on scattered hosting is typical of short-lived phishing setups.
What to do
If you entered a password on fortspot.top, change it on the real service and on every account that shares it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and review recent logins. If you typed a wallet recovery phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move the remaining funds to a newly created wallet. If you paid or shared card details, contact your bank or card issuer right away. Defenders should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level and search logs for past visits.
