PhishDestroy threat report
fortnex.online is classified by PhishDestroy as an impersonation phishing page. It presents itself as a service it is not, so that crypto users trust it with credentials, wallet access or money. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19. On 2026-10-19 the domain still responded, but DNS for its content was inactive.
Impersonation sites copy the look, wording and flow of a known platform, then wait for victims to arrive through ads, search results, social media posts or direct messages. Once a visitor believes the page is real, it asks for a login, a seed phrase, a wallet connection or a deposit. Whatever is entered goes straight to the operators. The page title reads only "Loading" and names no brand. That fits a placeholder or redirect screen in front of the real content, but it does not identify the service being copied. Victims typically lose account access, wallet contents or funds sent under false pretences.
Seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-30: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a modest count, but it comes from seven unrelated vendors reaching the same conclusion independently. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses. Among blocklists, it is currently carried by PhishDestroy.
The domain was registered on 2026-08-26 through Global Domain Group LLC, just 24 days before PhishDestroy detected it. That short gap is typical of throwaway phishing domains set up for a single campaign. It is hosted on the UFO TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED network in the United Kingdom. Its free Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock in the browser, so the padlock alone says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
If you typed a password on fortnex.online, change it on the real service right away. Also change it anywhere you reused it, and turn on app-based two-factor authentication. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and move your funds to a new wallet created from a fresh phrase. If you connected a wallet, revoke any approvals granted during the visit with a token-approval checker. If you sent money, contact your exchange or bank and keep your transaction records. Security teams should block the domain and its hosting IP at DNS and proxy level, and search logs for earlier visits by users.
