PhishDestroy threat report
com-a.xin is an impersonation phishing page that presents itself under the bland heading "Service Status". Its listing on the MetaMask and SEAL blocklists points to crypto wallet users as the intended audience. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-17, and the site was still online and serving content on 2026-10-19.
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a service people already trust, then use that borrowed credibility to ask for something valuable. A "Service Status" theme suits this well: a visitor who believes there is an outage or account problem is primed to "verify" a wallet, re-enter a recovery phrase, or sign a transaction to restore access. Anything typed or signed there goes straight to the operators, and a leaked seed phrase or an approved malicious transaction can empty a wallet with no way to reverse it. The page title shows a generic status page, while we classify the site as brand impersonation phishing.
Eight of 91 VirusTotal engines flag the domain as of 2026-09-29: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, Gridinsoft, Kaspersky, SOCRadar and VIPRE. That is a minority of engines, but the flagging vendors work independently, and the wallet-focused blocklists of MetaMask and SEAL list the domain alongside PhishDestroy. It also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it separately.
The domain was registered on 2026-09-15 through GNAME.COM PTE. LTD. and was caught by PhishDestroy only two days later. A domain this new, put to use almost at once, is typical of short-lived phishing runs. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address geolocated to Canada, which hides the origin server. Its Let's Encrypt certificate gives it a padlock icon, but that only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is honest.
If you entered a seed phrase or private key on com-a.xin, treat that wallet as compromised. Create a new wallet on a clean device and move any remaining funds to it right away. If you connected a wallet and signed anything, review and revoke token approvals with a reputable approval checker. If you entered an email password, change it and turn on two-factor authentication. Security teams should block the domain at DNS and proxy level, add it to wallet and browser warning lists, and report it to Cloudflare so the operators lose their front end.
