PhishDestroy threat report

Overview

PhishDestroy’s intake on 2026-10-21 recorded an admin report of a one‑day‑old domain and an AI model that returned a 100 % phishing confidence, leading to a malicious classification. The recorded page title “Changelly | Instant Swaps | Crypto Exchange” shows the site is using Changelly branding, which is the specific reason for the flag, and the site returned HTTP 200 on the same date.

How the scam works

Fake cryptocurrency exchanges copy the look and name of legitimate platforms to convince victims to deposit funds, often requesting wallet addresses or private keys under the pretense of a fast swap. Once a victim sends crypto, the operators control the destination address and can drain the funds without any recourse.

Evidence

VirusTotal scanned the domain on 2026-10-21 with 92 engines and reported zero malicious or suspicious detections.
