blackcrowsstore.shop is a fraudulent storefront that presents itself as the official site of Black Crows, the ski brand, under the page title "blackcrows Official Website | skis". It targets skiers and gear buyers who search for the brand and land on what looks like a factory store. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-10-16. As of 2026-10-19 the site was still online and serving its shop pages.
How the scam works
Fake brand shops copy the look of a real retailer, list current ski models at tempting discounts, and push visitors through a checkout that collects payment and card details. The order either never arrives or is replaced by a cheap counterfeit, and refund requests go unanswered. Victims lose the purchase amount, and any card number, address and phone number entered at checkout can be reused for further fraud or targeted follow-up scams. The "official website" wording in the title is what makes the domain's extra "store" suffix easy to overlook.
Evidence
Eight of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-16: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, ESET, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue, Netcraft and Webroot. That spread of independent vendors, including Netcraft and ESET, is a solid signal for a new shop domain. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and specifically identified the page as a fake shop. The domain also appears in four AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as well.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Spaceship, Inc. on 2026-03-18, about seven months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was registered in advance, ahead of the ski season. It is hosted on the Malakmadze Web LLC network in Georgia. The site uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted. It says nothing about whether the shop is genuine.
What to do
If you placed an order, contact your card issuer or bank right away, report the transaction as fraud and request a chargeback. Ask them to reissue the card. If you paid by bank transfer, gift card or crypto, report it to your bank and local police quickly, as these payments are hard to reverse. Expect phishing emails or calls that use your order details, and change any password you reused when creating an account on the site. Security teams should block the domain and watch for other lookalike Black Crows store domains, and the brand owner may want to pursue takedown through the registrar and host.
