aurextokenexperience.lol is a counterfeit airdrop claim page that mimics an AurexToken launch. It targets cryptocurrency wallet owners looking for free tokens. PhishDestroy first identified the domain on 2026-10-19. As of the same date the site is still online but its content could not be retrieved.
How the scam works
The page advertises an AurexToken launch and promises a free airdrop. Victims are prompted to connect their wallet or paste private keys to “claim” the tokens. Once the wallet is linked, the attacker can drain funds or approve token transfers. The promise of free tokens entices users to bypass normal security checks.
Evidence
VirusTotal flags the domain with six detections out of 92 engines, including AlphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Gridinsoft and Kaspersky. urlscan.io rates the site as malicious and identified genericcrypto and genericemail as the associated brands. PhishDestroy, MetaMask and SEAL have already added the domain to their blocklists. OTX records four active pulses referencing the same threat.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-10-15 through Dynadot Inc, giving the operators only a few days before PhishDestroy spotted it on 2026-10-19. It resolves to 172.67.154.89, a Cloudflare network address located in the United States. The site uses a Let’s Encrypt certificate issued by YE1, a common free TLS provider that does not imply malicious intent but shows the operators opted for quick, low‑cost hosting.
What to do
Anyone who entered a private key or approved a transaction should immediately revoke all wallet approvals, move remaining assets to a new address and change associated passwords. Run a malware scan on any device used to access the site.
