affinitytrade.online served a login page titled "Sign in - Affinity Trade", presenting itself as the account portal of a trading service. PhishDestroy classifies it as credential phishing aimed at people who expect to log in to a trading or crypto account under that name. We first flagged the domain on 2026-08-19. It has been offline since 2026-09-11, and on 2026-10-19 its DNS was still inactive.
How the scam works
Victims arrive on what looks like the Affinity Trade sign-in screen, usually through a link in a message, ad or chat. Anything typed into the form, such as the email, password and often a one-time code, goes to the operators instead of a real service. With those credentials they can take over the trading account, drain any balance, or try the same password on email and exchange accounts where it was reused.
Evidence
On 2026-08-28, 7 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and desenmascara.me. That is a modest count, but it comes from several unrelated vendors that reached the same conclusion on their own. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL under the spam category. It also appears in 5 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which shows other researchers were tracking it too. PhishDestroy carries it on its blocklist.
Infrastructure
The site was hosted at 163.61.188.5 on the NEW DHAKA HARDWARE network, geolocated to the US, and the domain was registered through Global Domain Group LLC. It used a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser said nothing about whether the site was legitimate. The cheap .online name built around a brand-like phrase, combined with a site that ran for only about three weeks after we first saw it, fits a disposable phishing setup.
What to do
If you entered a password on this page, change it right away on the real service and on every account where you used the same password. Turn on app-based or hardware two-factor authentication, and review recent logins, withdrawals and linked email or API keys for changes you did not make. If you shared a one-time code, assume the account was accessed and contact the platform's official support. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, search proxy and mail logs for visits since 2026-08-19, and reset credentials for any user who reached the page.
