Overview

usdc038.com is on the PhishDestroy blocklist. Its name pairs the USDC stablecoin ticker with a number, a pattern that makes it look like a USDC-related service to anyone skimming a link. PhishDestroy first saw it on 2026-10-09. The site has been offline since 2026-10-14, its content is blocked at the provider level, and it was still down at the last check on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page carried the title "onkeyon", which names no brand, while the domain itself borrows the USDC name. That gap does not reveal a specific scheme. It does mean a visitor expecting something connected to USDC would land on a site with no clear identity. The main risk for crypto users on a site like this is being asked to connect a wallet, sign a transaction, or send stablecoins to a page they cannot verify. Any of those can move funds irreversibly.

Evidence

Independent detection is thin. On 2026-10-13, VirusTotal showed 1 of 92 engines flagging the domain, and that single vendor was LevelBlue. Apart from PhishDestroy, no other blocklist lists it. It does appear in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as an indicator even though most scanners have not flagged it.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2025-12-29 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., roughly nine months before PhishDestroy detected it. A long gap like that can mean the name was held in reserve before use. The site sits behind Cloudflare, Inc. on an address located in Canada, so the true origin server is hidden. Its certificate came from Google Trust Services (WE1), which is common for Cloudflare-fronted sites and says nothing about who runs the domain.

What to do

If you connected a wallet to usdc038.com, review and revoke any token approvals it may have obtained, especially for USDC. Move remaining funds to a fresh wallet if you signed anything you did not understand. If you entered a seed phrase, treat that wallet as compromised and empty it immediately. Do not send further deposits or "fees" to anyone connected with the site.
