It targeted people planning UK trips who might hand over personal or payment details to what looks like a helpful travel resource. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-16. The site went offline on 2026-09-17, and its content was still blocked by the provider at the last check on 2026-10-19.
How the scam works
The page title shows a travel guide, while our classification is impersonation phishing. Impersonation sites of this kind borrow the look and tone of a legitimate service so visitors stop questioning what they are typing. A travel theme gives natural cover for asking for names, contact details, account logins or card numbers under the guise of bookings, tours or trip planning. Whatever a visitor submits goes to the operators, who can reuse logins or run payment fraud.
Evidence
On 2026-09-19, VirusTotal showed 15 of 89 engines flagging the domain. That is a meaningful share for a site only days old, and the vendors were varied: alphaMountain.ai, BitDefender, CRDF, CyRadar, ESET, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet and G-Data. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers tracked it on their own. On the blocklist side, PhishDestroy is the listing source.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-08-05, about six weeks before we detected it. That gap is consistent with a domain registered, set up quietly and then put into use. Traffic was served through Cloudflare's network, which resolved to an address geolocated in Canada and hid the real origin server. The site was blocked at the provider level within a day of our first sighting.
What to do
If you entered a password on this site, change it at once, along with anywhere else you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you typed in card or bank details for a supposed booking, call your bank, cancel the card and dispute any charges you don't recognize. Be wary of follow-up emails or calls about your "reservation," because operators often reuse contact details they collect.
