How the scam works
Impersonation sites borrow the look and language of a trusted investment or crypto service so visitors will hand over logins, personal details, wallet secrets or deposits. Mining-themed lures usually promise steady daily returns on a deposit. They then show growing balances that cannot be withdrawn without further payments. The victim stands to lose any money sent, plus whatever credentials or recovery phrases are typed into the page.
