How the scam works
The domain swaps the letters of "simple" into "sipmie", a typo-style trick meant to catch hurried visitors or anyone clicking a search result or ad without reading closely. The page is titled "SimpleSwap Review 2024: Anonymous Crypto Exchange Guide", so it presents itself as a review and guide, while we classify it as impersonation of the exchange. Lookalike swap sites usually ask the visitor to send coins to a deposit address or connect a wallet for an exchange that never pays out. Because crypto transfers cannot be reversed, any amount sent is typically lost for good.
Evidence
Seven of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain on 2026-10-03: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Gridinsoft, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That count is modest, so many browsers and security tools may still let the page load.
