How the scam works
Fake celebrity casinos follow a familiar script. A claimed Musk endorsement, often pushed through social media posts or deepfake videos, promises provably fair blockchain gambling, bonus codes or giveaways. Victims fund an account with crypto and see a balance or winnings appear on screen. Those numbers exist only in the operator's database. Withdrawals stall behind verification steps, minimum thresholds or extra deposits, so anything sent is effectively lost.
Evidence
Fourteen of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain as of 2026-09-13, including BitDefender, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF, CyRadar and Chong Lua Dao. urlscan.io returned a malicious verdict and tagged the page as a generic crypto scam. Spamhaus lists it in its DBL as phishing. MetaMask and SEAL blocklist it alongside PhishDestroy, which means wallet users get a warning before the page loads. Four AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference the domain.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered on 2026-05-16 through Fewmoretaps OU, which trades as Trustname.com. That was almost four months before we detected it, so the operators either held the name in reserve or ran it quietly for a while. Traffic resolved to 172.67.156.96 on Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. That address is a Cloudflare edge address, so it hides the actual origin server rather than revealing it.
What to do
If you deposited crypto on Sawadex, do not send more money for "withdrawal fees", taxes or account verification. Those requests are how this scheme takes a second payment. Record the transaction hashes and the addresses you paid, then report them to your exchange and local cybercrime authorities. If you connected a wallet, review and revoke any token approvals granted during the visit. Treat any message offering to recover your funds as a likely follow-up scam.
