qefyzao.com is an impersonation phishing site: it presents itself as a legitimate service so visitors will trust it with sensitive information. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-23. As of 2026-10-19 the domain still resolves, but its page content no longer loads. The page title now reads "Sorry, the website has been stopped," which looks like a suspension notice, while our classification remains impersonation phishing.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a real brand closely enough that a visitor does not notice they are on the wrong domain. Victims usually arrive through a link in an email, a direct message, a search ad or a social media post. The page then asks for whatever the operator wants: account passwords, one-time codes, seed phrases or a wallet connection. Anything entered goes straight to the scammers, who use it to take over accounts or empty funds before the victim realizes what happened.
Evidence
When VirusTotal checked the domain on 2026-10-02, 17 of 91 security engines flagged it. That is a solid minority, and the flags come from independent vendors including BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, ADMINUSLabs, CyRadar and the Vietnamese anti-scam group Chong Lua Dao. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so other researchers have tracked it as part of malicious activity. It is listed on the PhishDestroy blocklist.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-04-09, about five and a half months before PhishDestroy detected it. That gap suggests it was either kept in reserve or ran quietly for a while before drawing attention. Traffic passes through Cloudflare's network, with the address geolocated to Canada, so the real origin server is hidden behind the proxy. Takedown requests therefore need to go to both the registrar and Cloudflare.
What to do
If you typed a password into this site, change it on the real service right away, and also on any other account where you reused it. Then turn on app-based two-factor authentication and sign out of all active sessions. If you entered a seed phrase or connected a wallet, treat that wallet as compromised: move any remaining assets to a new wallet created on a clean device, and revoke the token approvals you granted. Defenders should block the domain at DNS and the mail gateway and search logs for users who visited it. Report it to Namecheap and Cloudflare so it cannot come back with new content.
