oxicurve.info is an impersonation phishing site that borrows the Curve name by prefixing it with "oxi", a pattern meant to look like an official offshoot or partner project. It targets people who already know or use Curve and might trust a familiar-sounding brand. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-13. As of 2026-10-19 the domain was still alive and serving a redirect.
How the scam works
The page presents itself under the title "Oxicurve | Rozwój kariery w praktyce", Polish for "career development in practice". That reads like a jobs or training portal, while we classified the site as a Curve impersonation. Lookalike-brand sites of this type use the trusted name to lower the visitor's guard. They then ask for whatever the operator wants: account logins, personal details, payment information or a sign-up that leads to a further pitch. Because the domain redirects, visitors can be passed to a different destination than the one they first opened, so what a victim sees may change over time.
Evidence
VirusTotal scanning on 2026-09-21 returned 16 malicious verdicts out of 89 engines. That is a meaningful share for a site without an obvious payload. Vendors flagging it include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, G-Data, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and Gridinsoft. The domain also appears in five AlienVault OTX threat pulses, which means other researchers have independently tied it to malicious activity. PhishDestroy is the blocklist that currently lists it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-06-24, about 81 days before we detected it. That gap suggests it was parked or kept quiet before being put to use. Its address sits on Cloudflare's network, geolocated to Canada. That means the real origin server is hidden behind Cloudflare's proxy. The HTTPS certificate from Google Trust Services is a standard automated one, so the padlock says nothing about whether the site is legitimate.
What to do
If you signed in on this site with Curve or any other credentials, change that password immediately, plus any account where you reused it, and turn on two-factor authentication. If you entered card or bank details, contact your bank to block the card and dispute unfamiliar charges. Be suspicious of follow-up emails, recruiter messages or calls referencing "Oxicurve" or a Curve job offer. Defenders should block oxicurve.info at DNS and web proxies and search logs for prior visits. Report the domain to Cloudflare and NameCheap abuse teams so the redirect and registration can be shut down.
