With those, the operators can sign in to the real Nexo account, move funds out and reuse the personal data for further fraud. The domain name, which pairs "nexo" with "taxtranscript", is built to make that pretext look routine.

On 2026-10-17, VirusTotal showed 5 of 92 engines flagging the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft and SOCRadar.
