How the scam works
Shops like this one show a polished catalogue with heavy discounts, often promoted through social media ads, to push visitors toward a quick checkout. The buyer enters a shipping address, contact details and card information. They then receive nothing, a cheap item unrelated to the order, or fake tracking that delays complaints until the chargeback window narrows. Victims lose the purchase price and hand over personal and payment data that can be reused for further fraud.
Evidence
On 2026-10-07, 15 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain. The vendors flagging it include BitDefender, ESET, Fortinet, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, G-Data, alphaMountain.ai, CRDF and CyRadar. That is a meaningful spread of independent security vendors for a site only weeks old. urlscan.io rated the site malicious and specifically identified it as a fake shop, and three AlienVault OTX threat pulses reference it. Among blocklists, it currently appears on PhishDestroy's.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-09-14, just ten days before PhishDestroy detected it. This short gap is typical of throwaway storefronts that are set up, advertised and abandoned within weeks. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, with the address geolocating to Canada. Because Cloudflare acts as a proxy, the server actually hosting the shop is not visible.
What to do
If you paid on lzexox.com, contact your card issuer or bank right away, report the transaction as fraud and request a chargeback. Keep your order confirmation and any emails as evidence. Watch your statements for unfamiliar charges, and consider replacing the card. If you created an account there, change that password anywhere else you reused it.
