How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look, wording and flow of a brand people already trust. The aim is that nobody stops to check the address before typing in a password, contact details or identity documents. Anything entered goes straight to the operators, who can use it to take over accounts, run follow-up fraud or resell it. When visited, the page carried the title "Just a moment...", a generic browser-check screen that names no brand, while our classification is impersonation phishing.

Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2024-12-11, about 22 months before PhishDestroy detected it. A domain held that long before it surfaced in phishing can look more established than a freshly registered one. The site sits behind Cloudflare's network in the US, which hides the real origin server. Its TLS certificate comes from Google Trust Services, so the padlock in the browser says nothing about whether the site is honest.
