How the scam works
The page title translates roughly as "imToken official site – genuine imToken wallet app download." That is the standard pitch of fake wallet download portals, which usually reach victims through search ads, lookalike domains or shared links. Such portals typically hand out a tampered wallet app or lead the user to an import screen. Once the victim creates or restores a wallet, the recovery phrase or private key goes to the operators, who then empty the wallet. The victim loses every asset held under that seed, and on-chain transfers cannot be reversed.
