hpcvip.com is a phishing site that presents itself under the title "IRENA", the name of the International Renewable Energy Agency. Independent detection is thin. On 2026-09-22, only 2 of 89 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: Forcepoint ThreatSeeker and SOCRadar. PhishDestroy is the only blocklist carrying it. The domain does appear in 4 AlienVault OTX pulses, so other researchers have linked it to threat activity. A clean result from most scanners should not be read as a sign that the site is safe.

The domain was registered through NameCheap, Inc. on 2026-05-12, about four months before PhishDestroy detected it. Watch for follow-up messages that use the IRENA name, and report any that arrive. Defenders should block the domain and its IP, and add the IRENA lure to phishing awareness material.
