fortpz.com is an impersonation phishing site: it presents itself as a legitimate service so that visitors trust it with information they would only give the real one. PhishDestroy first flagged it on 2026-09-19, less than two weeks after the domain was registered. As of 2026-10-19 the site is still online and serving live content, so anyone who receives a link to it today can still reach the phishing page.
How the scam works
Impersonation pages copy the look and wording of a known brand and are usually reached through links in messages, ads or social media posts. The visitor believes they are on the genuine site and types in a login, recovery details or other secrets, which go straight to the operators. The browser tab on fortpz.com shows only the title "Loading", a generic placeholder that does not name the brand being copied. Whatever the victim enters can be used to take over the account it unlocks.
Evidence
On 2026-09-30, 8 of 91 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Bfore.Ai PreCrime, CRDF, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, LevelBlue and SOCRadar. That is a minority of engines, but the vendors are unrelated to each other and reached the same verdict independently. Spamhaus lists the domain in its DBL as spam, and it appears in 4 AlienVault OTX threat pulses. The PhishDestroy blocklist also includes it.
Infrastructure
The domain was registered through Namecheap on 2026-09-06 and was already serving a phishing page when PhishDestroy flagged it 13 days later. That short gap is typical of throwaway domains that are bought shortly before a campaign starts. The site is hosted in Turkey on a network registered to M/S ROBI TRADERS. It uses a free Let's Encrypt certificate, so the padlock in the browser only means the connection is encrypted and says nothing about whether the site is genuine.
What to do
If you typed a password on fortpz.com, change it right away on the real service. Change it as well anywhere else you use the same password, and turn on two-factor authentication. Check recent account activity and active sessions, and sign out any device you do not recognise. If you entered a recovery phrase or private key, treat that wallet as compromised and move its funds to a newly created wallet. Defenders should block fortpz.com at DNS and the web proxy, and search mail and chat logs for links pointing to it.
