Overview

designerforhad.com presents itself as the official website of MK Sports. Its Chinese page title, "MK（体育科技有限公司）体育官方网站", translates to "MK (Sports Technology Co., Ltd.) Sports Official Website". The audience is Chinese-speaking sports bettors who believe they have reached the genuine MK platform. PhishDestroy first flagged the domain on 2026-10-08, and it was still online and serving content when checked on 2026-10-19.

How the scam works

The page title advertises an official MK sports betting portal, and we classify the site as impersonation phishing. Copycat betting portals like this usually ask visitors to register and log in, which captures account credentials. They also push deposits through payment channels the operators control. Balances shown on screen may look real, but withdrawals tend to stall behind invented "verification", "tax" or "unlock" fees. Victims lose their login details, any money deposited, and every fee paid afterward.

Evidence

On 2026-10-11, 7 of 92 VirusTotal engines flagged the domain: alphaMountain.ai, Forcepoint ThreatSeeker, Fortinet, Gridinsoft, Seclookup, SOCRadar and URLQuery. That is a minority of engines, but seven unrelated vendors reaching the same verdict outweighs the silence of the rest. The domain also appears in 37 AlienVault OTX threat pulses, so it is already being tracked by other researchers. Among blocklists, it is currently listed by PhishDestroy.

Infrastructure

The domain was registered on 2021-06-01 through Gname.com Pte. Ltd., more than five years before PhishDestroy detected it. Its name has nothing to do with MK or sports betting. It resolves to 154.218.174.54 on the ASLINE LIMITED network in Hong Kong. The Let's Encrypt certificate (YR1) gives the site a browser padlock, which only means the connection is encrypted, not that the operator is legitimate.

What to do

Do not register, log in or deposit on designerforhad.com. If you already entered credentials, change that password on every service where you reused it and turn on two-factor authentication. If you sent money, contact your bank or payment provider right away and report the transaction as fraud. Never pay a fee to release a promised withdrawal, because that payment is simply another loss. Defenders should block the domain and 154.218.174.54 at DNS and proxy level and watch for other domains carrying the same MK Sports page title.
